Up for sale, a 2011 Rickenbacker 370/12 in near mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. The tone is crystal clear, sparkling with top end sweetness and chime that is quintessential Rickenbacker. The hollow maple body with neck through construction gives the 370/12 a sustain, immediate attack, and richness found with few 12 string designs, and it's no wonder that top players of the British Invasion and folk boom of the 1960s gravitated towards Rickenbacker for their top notch construction and tone. Equipped with stereo "Rick-o-Sound" functionality, and a middle pickup exclusive to the 370 model (coupled to the neck pickup when using the three-way pickup selector), the 370/12 has more fullness and midrange heft than its brother the 360, and the smaller fifth knob on the Rickenbacker control plate is very useful on this model for blending in the right amount of low end. The guitar weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh strings and easy-playing action.

The dual truss rod enforced maple neck has a round and substantial C-shaped profile carve with full shoulders and just a hair more heft as you travel up the fretboard, measuring .870" deep at the 1st fret and .955" at the 12th. The bound slab rosewood fretboard is inlaid with pearl triangles that extend all the way to the fretboard edges, and the stock fretwire is flawless with perfectly rounded crowns. The guitar plays cleanly in every register up the 24 3/4" scale, and the nut measures 1.650" in width. On the headstock, the original Schaller tuning machines all turn smoothly with immaculate chrome plating. Of course the famous Rickenbacker logo and truss rod cover is present as well.

All of the electronics work as they should, and everything is exactly how it was when the guitar left the Rickenbacker factory. The chrome "R" tailpiece and six saddle bridge with original cover is intact and the chrome plating is clean as can be. The stock knobs also have minty chrome caps, the original foil USA sticker is still intact on the dual-tiered pickguard, and the pickup bezels on the "Hi-Gain" single coils are also practically perfect. Cosmetically, this is truly a near mint instrument and a particularly nice example of a rare and discontinued Rickenbacker model. There are just a few light pick scuffs across the upper tier of the pickguard, and one tiny touched-up finish chip, nigh invisible and just to the right of the tailpiece hinge. Beyond that, there's barely a scratch on it.

The original hardshell case is included, along with a stereo cable to take advantage of the Rick-o-Sound functionality.
