Up for sale, a 2011 Rickenbacker 370/12 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the hardshell case. One of the less common Rickenbacker 12-strings and a model that has since been discontinued, the 370 is differentiated via the inclusion of a middle pickup, functionally coupled to the neck pickup, providing more fullness and midrange heft than its brother the 360.
The maple body construction ensures both breadth and detail. Plugged in, the Hi-Gains have a sweet, singing tone, with all the jangle, chime, and sparkle one expects from a Rickenbacker, smooth at the neck and punchy at the bridge. The middle pickup ensures extra meatiness and midrange potency in the middle and neck positions, and these pickups capture the full spectrum of all twelve strings. Weighing 8lbs 5oz, this 370/12 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple, Walnut
-Shape: D, full shoulders, measuring .885” 1st fret, .955” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, gloss-finished, edge-to-edge triangular inlays
-Frets: Slender, no wear
-Scale Length: 24 3/4”
-Nut: 1.650” (42mm)
-Tuners: Schaller
-Serialization: 11-prefix (jack plate)
Body Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Pickups: Hi-Gain single coil x3
-Harness: Untouched solder, CTS pots date to the 45th week of ‘11
-Controls: Volume x2, Tone x2, Blend, Three-way pickup selector
-Hardware: “R” tailpiece, six-saddle bridge with cover
-Plastics: Two-tiered pickguard (“Made in America” sticker intact), reflector knobs, “baton” switch tip
This is a well-kept instrument, and while technically used, there’s barely a mark on the gloss Jetglo finish. The gloss on the neck profile is similarly flawless.
The original molded hardshell case is included, along with the Rickenbacker-branded polish cloth.
