Up for sale, a 2011 Ibanez S5470F in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case, hangtags/factory documentation, and case candy. Produced at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this Ibanez is part of the upscale Prestige line and features an exceedingly slim, contoured mahogany body topped with a tiger flame maple top, an HSH pickup complement, Super Wizard HP Prestige neck profile carve, a ZR2 tremolo with ZPS3 stabilizer, and a gloss Sapphire Blue finish with matching headstock.
The HSH pickup complement features a pair of Hot Grinder humbuckers flanking a Short Tracer 2 single coil. The Hot Grinder humbuckers are high-output, particularly the Hot Grinder 2 bridge pickup, which features one screw pole coil and one blade coil. Both humbuckers are bold and aggressive, with a big, tight low end and boosted mids tailored for high gain. The Short Tracer 2 single coil offers more warmth than a standard single coil, working well with the humbuckers when coil-tapped (positions 2 and 4 on the five-way switch).
