Up for sale, a 2011 Ibanez Prestige model RG2570MZ in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this Ibanez is part of the upscale Prestige line and features a gloss White finish, Wizard HP Prestige neck profile carve, an HSH trio of specially designed Dimarzio IBZ pickups, and an Edge-Zero tremolo system.

A triple pickup HSH affair with a five-way blade pickup selector, both the humbuckers featured on the RG2570MZ are high-output models. The neck pickup is fairly bright-sounding, similar to a Super 2 (DP104). The bridge pickup has additional volume and warmth, resembling a cross between the Steve Morse Bridge Model (DP200) and the Super Distortion (DP100). The centrally located R1 single coil is warmer-sounding than a typical vintage single coil, designed to work well with the humbuckers when coil-tapped (positions 2-4 on the switch). The guitar weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action and spot-on intonation.

The maple and walnut five-piece neck has Ibanez's Wizard HP Prestige shape, a D-shaped carve which is notably slender and fast-feeling, measuring .730” deep at the 1st fret and .835” at the 12th. The bound 24 fret maple fretboard features wedge sharktooth inlay and stock jumbo fretwire. The frets have their full factory height and well-rounded crowns, with light wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-8. The guitar has a 25 1/2" scale length and 43mm nut width (fractionally wider than 1 11/16"). The headstock has original cosmo black Gotoh tuners and a Top Lok locking nut that ensures optimal tuning stability even with heavy vibrato use.

The body has a simple and sleek control layout, with a five-way pickup selector switch and Master Volume and Tone knobs. The Edge-Zero bridge with ZPS3 Zero Point Stabilizer System was designed by Ibanez to give the player the fast vibrato response and snap needed to pull off sharp bends and flutters. The extreme stability of the trem's stud lock function is also one of the many reasons it's a favorite among many of today's top players. The cosmo black hardware is clean, showing only a hint of patina on the tops of the knurled knobs. Cosmetic wear on the gloss White finish is limited to localized buckle rash on the back central to the upper bout, a few small finish chips on the body perimeter, and a few faint finish scratches on the body as a whole. The satin finish on the neck profile is immaculate, buffed to a semi-gloss from contact with the palm.

The original hardshell case is included.
