Up for sale, a 2011 Fender "Order Made" Telecaster Custom model TL62B-67 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This very rare “Made in Japan” Telecaster is ostensibly a one-off, produced as part of the Order Made program, which offered a bevy of non-catalog finish and component options. In this case, the body of a Telecaster Custom model TL62B has been mated with a late '60s-style Stratocaster flame maple neck (thus the "67" model suffix).
Tonewoods include a double bound alder body, and a maple neck capped with a slab rosewood fretboard, and of note, this guitar is constructed so that the neck pocket is shaped to accommodate the Strat's rounded heel. The pair of TL-Vintage alnico single coils deliver quintessential Tele sparkle and snap, with chewy twang at the bridge and fuller, bell-like tones at the neck. This TL62B-67 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Sunburst finish is framed on both sides by cream binding, with a few small areas of light finish wear down to the bare alder on top. There is light buckle rash central to the back, and some minor marks and finish scratches on the body as a whole. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless and highlights flame figuring in the maple.
A padded gigbag is included.
