Up for sale, a 2011 Fender John Mayer Stratocaster in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Designed in collaboration with Mayer, this signature Strat features a satin finish on the neck profile with a fast-feeling C-shaped carve, 9 1/2“ fretboard radius with 6105 Narrow/Tall fretwire, and “Big Dipper” single coil pickups custom-wound to Mayer’s specs.
Weighing 7lbs 8oz, tonewoods include a select alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The “Big Dipper” single coil pickups, uniquely wound for this model, feature a midrange scoop to ensure unparalleled clarity and a lively, dynamic feel. The bridge is spanky and sparkling, the neck has a smooth breadth, and hollow quack is on tap at the “in-between” positions on the switch. This John Mayer Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
