Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Jazzmaster hollowbody model JM/HO in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This extremely rare and short-lived model was produced in very limited quantities exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and never exported to the USA.
The semi-hollow ash body construction pushes this guitar into uncharted Jazzmaster tonal territory, combining the inherent warmth of the hollowbody design with the midrange punch and note detail of ash. The pickups deliver plenty of sinewy snap and sparkle in the bridge position, with a warmer, fuller neck pickup sound that retains great definition and cut. Engaging the Rhythm Circuit on the lower body horn yields warmer, wooly sounds. This JM/HO weighs 7lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Slender C, full shoulders, measuring .825” 1st fret, .910” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, bound, 7 1/4” vintage-spec radius
-Frets: Slender, virtually no wear
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”
-Nut: 1.650” (42mm), bone
-Tuners: Kluson-style, Gotoh
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” U-prefix
Body Specs:
-Wood: Ash

-Plastics: Three-ply black pickguard, cream pickup covers/knobs
The gloss Natural finish highlights the grain in the ash body, framed on both sides by cream binding. Cosmetic wear limited to a couple minor dings on the back and along the lower bout perimeter. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
A Fender padded gigbag is included.
