Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Competition Jazzmaster model JM66/CO in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This discontinued “Made in Japan” Jazzmaster is a “Competition” model, featuring the racing stripe most commonly associated with Fender’s Mustangs. The custom color finish has a bluish purple hue, officially known as Jupiter Blue.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard, and this Jazzmaster weighs 7lbs 15oz. There's plenty of sparkle and percussive cut on tap, with a range of defined and powerful tones from the two alnico magnet pickups. Warmer, wooly sounds can be accessed via the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn. This Competition Jazzmaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
