Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Jazzmaster ‘62 vintage reissue model JM66 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” Jazzmaster is a discontinued model, designed for the Japanese domestic market and uncommon outside its country of origin.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, and this Jazzmaster weighs 7lbs 10oz. There's plenty of twang and sparkle on tap, with a range of defined and powerful tones from the two alnico magnet pickups. Additionally, warmer, wooly sounds can be accessed via the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn. This Jazzmaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss three-tone Sunburst finish shows buckle rash across the belly carve, scuffing on top along the pick path, a few finish chips along the lower bout perimeter, and some minor dings on the body as a whole, largely concentrated at the lower bout. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile highlights dynamic figuring in the maple, with a couple shallow marks along the profile length that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
A modern Fender padded gigbag is included.
