Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-US in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, sporting a custom color Ocean Turquoise finish. This discontinued upper-tiered “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass features USA-made Fender pickups and premium touches including full-size tuner baseplates and spiral (threaded) bridge saddles.
Weighing 9lbs 4oz, this bass has ample natural sustain and punch, and the fit and finish of this Jazz Bass rivals Fender’s American Vintage line of instruments. The stock USA-made pickups deliver the goods, tonally: these pickups have plenty of sweet midrange and articulate growl, with a clear treble response and broad thump on tap when you dial back the Tone knob. This JB62-US has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

The custom color Ocean Turquoise finish is one of Fender Japan's paler iterations of this classic custom color, and this is a well-kept example, with cosmetic wear limited to a few tiny dings on the body perimeter and a handful of small nicks and faint scratches in the clear coat on the back. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is pristine.
A gigbag is included.
