Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Competition Mustang model MG69/CO-LTD Goldline in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Imported directly from Tokyo, this exceedingly rare “Made in Japan” Mustang was produced in very limited quantities for a single dealer in Japan, Ikebe Gakki, featuring a gloss Black finish with gold racing stripe and matching headstock.
Weighing 7lbs 10oz, this Mustang has a smooth, cutting voice when strummed acoustically, qualities which translate well through the pickups. The single coils have a clear, sparkling tone, and the On/Off/On pickup selector switches can also engage the distinctive Mustang out-of-phase sound in the innermost and outermost positions. This MG69/CO-LTD Goldline has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
