Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass model AJB in near-mint condition and in perfect working order. A “Made in Japan” model sold exclusively within the Japanese domestic market, this Aerodyne is unique both visually and sonically, with features including a PJ pickup configuration, bound body, and gloss Vintage White finish with matching headstock. Weighing 8lbs 10oz, tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard.

While most Fender basses outfitted with the PJ pickup configuration use a Precision-style body, this Aerodyne has the sleek looks and comfortable 1 1/2” nut width of the Jazz Bass. The pickups offer the ample thump and heft of a Precision split-coil neck pickup, and the midrange cut and articulation of a Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge. This AJB benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.

- Neck: Maple

The gloss Vintage White finish is framed on top by immaculate black binding and shows only some light scuffing along the pick path, some patina on the knobs and control plate, and a tiny ding on the headstock edge. The satin finish on the neck profile is pristine.

The original premium Fender-branded gigbag is included.
