Up for sale, a 2010s Breedlove Custom Concerto CE in near-mint condition, complete with a softshell case. Hand-crafted in Bend, Oregon, this rare iteration of the Concerto CE boasts an uncommon tonewood combination comprised of a scalloped X-braced myrtlewood top with herringbone rosette and purfling, myrtlewood back and sides, and a myrtlewood neck capped by an ebony fingerboard, outfitted with an L.R. Baggs Lyric microphone.
Weighing 4lbs 9oz, this guitar has a dynamically rich and responsive low end, harmonically charged with complex midrange content and a sparkling, present top. The all-myrtlewood construction offers a strong fundamental with a full and balanced sound that’s neither too bright nor too dark, and the ebony fingerboard provides additional glassy note detail with excellent string-to-string definition.
The Concert body size is particularly well-balanced, ideal for a wide array of applications, and the L.R. Baggs Lyric microphone system features patent pending proprietary technology.
