Up for sale, a 2010 Ibanez Prestige SV5470A in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this Ibanez is part of the upscale Prestige line and features an exceedingly slim, contoured mahogany body with an ash top, HSH pickup complement, Wizard HP Prestige neck profile carve, SynchroniZR tremolo with ZPS-FX stabilizer, and a gloss Crimson Wine finish.
The HSH pickup complement features a pair of True Duo Blast humbuckers flanking a Short Tracer 2 single coil. The True Duo Blast humbuckers feature both ceramic and Alnico V magnet triple coil construction (one single and one stacked), designed for seamless switching between genuine double and single coil use that’s governed by a Push/Pull coil tap on the Volume knob. Both humbuckers are bold and aggressive, with big, tight low end and boosted mids tailored for high gain. The Short Tracer 2 single coil offers more power than a standard single coil, working well with the humbuckers in positions 2 and 4 on the five-way switch. Featherweight at 6lbs 11oz, this SV5470A has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
