Up for sale, a 2010 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-TX in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, upgraded with boutique Lollar pickups and a USA-spec wiring harness. This “Made in Japan” Stratocaster was long ago discontinued, produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring a custom color Sonic Blue gloss finish.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, weighing 8lbs 4oz. The upgraded pickups include a pair of Lollar Blondes in the neck and middle positions and an S Series Special at the bridge. These premium boutique single coils are renowned worldwide for their high quality and rich tone, very faithful to vintage Fender spec and hand-wound with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads and staggered alnico pole pieces. The chime and top-end bloom of Lollar's "Blondes" pairs well with fullness and punch of the "Special," ensuring a distinct sound in each position on the five-way switch. This Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The custom color Sonic Blue is notably saturated, presenting closer to a Daphne Blue, and cosmetic wear is limited to faint buckle rash at the belly contour, a few mild scuffs in the clear coat on top, and a few small dings on the body as a whole. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless, and there is a small finish chip at the top of the peghead.
A modern Fender gigbag is included.
