Up for sale, a 2010 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62/ASH/MH in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare “Made in Japan” Stratocaster features a gloss Transparent Pink finish over an ash body, complete with matching headstock and accented by a white pearloid pickguard.
Weighing 8lbs 9oz, this Stratocaster offers plenty of note attack, sweet sustain and layered midrange detail. The trio of ST-Single ceramic magnet single coil pickups have a clear sound, with more punch and cut than alnico magnet varieties, offering a sparkling sound in the bridge position, a fat, authoritative quality at the neck, and hollow quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This ST62/ASH/MH has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
