Up for sale, a 2010 Fender Rosewood Telecaster model TL-ROSE in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare limited run non-catalog Tele made only for the Japanese domestic market, the TL-Rose model features a pair of USA-made Fender American Vintage black bobbin pickups and rosewood veneers on the front and back of the body sandwiching a basswood core.
The USA-made pickups deliver quintessential Tele tones: the flat pole alnico magnet bridge pickup has an authoritative cut and sparkle, while the neck pickup is smooth and bell-like in its response. This Rosewood Tele TL-ROSE weighs 7lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Medium C, measuring .845” 1st fret, .950” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood slab, 7 1/4" vintage-spec radius
-Frets: Slender, light wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-7
-Scale Length: 25 1/2"
-Nut Width: 1.650" (42mm), bone
-Tuners: F-stamped (Schaller)
-Serialization: "Made in Japan," U-prefix
Body Specs:
-Wood: Rosewood (veneers), basswood core

-Controls: Volume, Tone, Three-way pickup selector
-Hardware: “Pat. Pend” bridge with steel barrel saddles, flat-top knurled knobs
-Plastics: Three-ply black pickguard, “top hat” switch tip
The gloss finish on the top and back highlights the grain of the rosewood veneers, while the body perimeter and neck profile are finished in black. Cosmetic wear includes a few finish chips along the lower bout perimeter and some small dings on the back. The finish on the neck profile is smooth and clean save for a couple shallow marks in the lower registers that are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
A modern Fender gigbag is included.
