Up for sale, a 2010 Fender Custom Shop ‘52 Telecaster Relic from the celebrated "Time Machine" series in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, hangtags/CoA, and case candy.

Weighing 7lbs 5oz, this Tele delivers the complex midrange character, detailed note attack, and glassy articulation inherent in a '50s tonewood complement, with a premium ash body and one-piece maple neck with a V-shaped profile carve. The original pickup pair comprise a Custom Shop ‘51 Nocaster single coil at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-1 ‘59 PAF humbucker at the neck: the Custom Shop '51 Nocaster pickup is faithful to the original design with black fiber bobbins, flush-mount Alnico III magnets, a tin-plated copper baseplate, and cloth-covered leads, delivering quintessentially Tele twang and snap. The Duncan SH-1 in the neck position is a faithful recreation of the original PAF, delivering the warm lows, smooth trebles, and tailored midrange clarity of that iconic design. This ‘52 Telecaster Relic has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The three-tone Sunburst gloss finish highlights the grain of the ash body and exhibits subtle checking. Beyond the Fender Custom Shop Relic treatment, there's ostensibly very little wear on the instrument. The smooth gloss finish on the neck profile is nigh flawless.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included, along with the hangtags, case candy, and serialized CoA, dated 2/22/10.
