Up for sale, a 2009 Ibanez J. Custom RG8420ZE in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case and hantags. This uncommon Ibanez was produced at the Fujigen factory in Japan by Ibanez’s elite Custom Guitar Craft Edition luthiers, featuring a pair of EMG active humbuckers, and Edge Zero tremolo with a ZPS3 tuning stabilizer
The AAA bookmatched flame maple top features a Red Spinel finish, paired with an African mahogany body, maple/walnut neck, and bound 24-fret rosewood fretboard. The EMG pickups comprise an 81 in the bridge position and an 85 at the neck. Utilizing ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the EMG 81 was designed for optimal note detail, enhanced high end cut, and fluid sustain, engineered so that lead work will slice through even the densest mix. The 85 features close aperture coils loaded with Alnico V magnets, and this popular EMG is powerful and versatile, with excellent articulation and harmonic complexity. This Ibanez weighs 8lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.

The neck profile retains its smooth gloss.
