Up for sale, a 2009 Fender Jeff Beck Signature Stratocaster in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original tweed hardshell case and hangtags. With a legendary career spanning several decades following his rise to fame in The Yardbirds, Jeff Beck has consistently risen to the top of many "best guitarist of all time" and "most influential guitarist" lists. One of Fender's most enduring signature artist models, the Jeff Beck Stratocaster features Deluxe Schaller locking tuners, an LSR ball bearing roller nut, Fender Hot Noiseless single coils, and a modern two-point synchronized tremolo (because anybody who's seen Jeff play knows how hard he wrangled his trem).
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and an extremely dark, thick slab 22 fret rosewood fretboard, delivering a focused, clear tone with lots of top end, qualities that translate faithfully via the Hot Noiseless single coil pickups. These hum-free pickups feature ceramic magnet construction, delivering a combination of warmth and punch with cutting bluesy articulation. The neck is throaty and full, the high-output bridge has a sharp bite and takes gain notably well, and there's a quintessential hollow Strat quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way selector switch. Weighing 8lbs 1oz, this Jeff Beck Strat has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
