Up for sale, a 2009 Fender Jazz Bass fretless ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-FL in like-new, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag, hangtags/spec sheet, and uninstalled pickguard and finger rest. This “Crafted in Japan” fretless Jazz Bass features a number of vintage-accurate touches including long-stem reverse-gear clover button tuners, spiral (threaded) bridge saddles, USA-made single coil pickups, and a gloss Olympic White finish.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and lined slab rosewood fingerboard. This JB62-FL delivers plenty of treble growl, burp, and smooth, vocal-sounding low end via the pickup pair. The signal can get throaty and broad with the neck pickup favored, or dial up the bridge pickup for a more punchy, midrange forward tone. Weighing 9lbs 5oz, this JB62-FL has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.
