Up for sale, a 2009 Fender Jazz Bass '75 model JB75/MH in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A limited edition non-catalog Fender Japan bass made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this Jazz Bass is a top-tier model featuring USA-made pickups, an Ocean Turquoise gloss finish with matching headstock, and factory-installed chrome bridge and pickup "ashtray" covers.
Tonewoods include an ash body, maple neck, and bound rosewood fretboard, yielding a round, authoritative natural acoustic tone that's channeled through the pair of USA Fender pickups. The same single coils seen in the American Standard models of the era, these pickups do an excellent job of accentuating the smooth growl and upper midrange burp central to the Jazz Bass sound, with plenty of smooth, clear thump when the neck pickup is favored and Tone knob rolled back to taste. The bass weighs 9lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
