Up for sale, a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus in excellent condition and in perfect working order, upgraded with Bare Knuckle The Mule humbuckers and complete with the original hardshell case. The top on this upper tiered "Plus" iteration of the Standard features straight tiger flame extending across the bookmatched maple, bisected by prominent grain and highlighted by the Light Burst gloss finish. Other unique features of the '08 model year include a substantial asymmetrical neck profile carve, TonePros Nashville Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar, locking Grover tuning machines, a locking Neutrik output jack, custom-made solderless potentiometers and a long neck tenon.
Featherweight for a Les Paul at 7lbs 13oz, this Gibson features a weight relieved mahogany body and carved two-piece maple cap. The instrument has plenty of natural warmth, clarity and projection, and the pickups have been substituted for a pair of Bare Knuckle The Mule humbuckers. These pickups are voiced as faithful reproductions of the best ‘59 PAFs, featuring vintage accurate components including 42 AWG plain enamel wire, Fillister no.5 pole screws, sand-cast Alnico IV magnets, and solid nickel silver baseplates/covers. The Bare Knuckle humbuckers deliver the warmth, harmonic overtones, and sonic depth of the PAF, with a slightly fuller midrange for ideal heft without sacrificing clarity (original Burstbucker Pro PAF pickups are also included). This Les Paul Standard Plus has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The original GIbson USA hardshell case with white plush interior is included, along with the original pair of Burstbucker PAFs.
