Up for sale, a 2008 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘62 vintage reissue model TL62B-TX in near-mint, 100% original condition. This upper-tiered “Crafted in Japan” Telecaster was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, featuring a pair of Fender's USA-made Texas Special pickups.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this Tele weighs 7lbs 9oz. The pair of USA-made Texas Special single coils feature all the hallmarks of vintage Fender pickup construction, with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads and staggered alnico magnet pole pieces. Slightly overwound for a bit more kick than a traditional pair of single coils, the Texas Specials deliver plenty of snarl, with quintessential Tele twang in the bridge position and sweet percussive cut at the neck. This TL62B-TX has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
