Up for sale, a 2008 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-TX/MH in showroom clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This upper-tiered “Crafted in Japan” model was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring a trio of USA-made Fender Texas Special single coil pickups and a gloss custom color Burgundy Mist finish with matching headstock.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and a slab rosewood fretboard, and this ST62-TX/MH weighs 7lbs 13oz. The Fender Texas Special single coils match vintage spec with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads and staggered alnico magnets, delivering a bevy of sparkling classic Strat tonalities with a slightly aggressive overwound snap. The bridge pickup is bold and chewy and the neck has a full, bell-like quality. This ST62-TX/MH has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
