Up for sale, a 2008 Fender Stratocaster ‘57 vintage reissue model ST57-TX in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtag and manual. This upper-tiered “Crafted in Japan” model was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring a trio of USA-made Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, ensuring a clear, balanced platform for the Texas Specials pickups. These Custom Shop Fender single coils match vintage spec with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads and staggered alnico magnets, delivering a bevy of sparkling classic Strat tonalities with a slightly aggressive overwound snap. The bridge pickup is sparkling and chewy and the neck has a full, bell-like bark, with a range of quintessential Strat tonalities in-between. This Strat weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
