Up for sale, a 2008 B.C. Rich Bich 10-string electric guitar in showroom clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and factory paperwork. Not to be confused with Korean-made iterations, this quality Bich was expertly made in Japan with a highly figured flame maple top, five-ply maple/walnut neck through construction, nato (mahogany) body wings, bound ebony fretboard with abalone cloud inlay, and pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The wicked Bich body shape and 10-string design have remained cutting edge since the model’s introduction at the 1978 NAMM show as a custom order.

The Seymour Duncan "Duncan Custom" SH-5 in the neck position is a bigger, beefier iteration of the PAF, perfect for searing leads and huge chords. The ceramic magnet and custom coil design provide compressed dynamics with an enhanced harmonic structure and excellent low-frequency response. The SH-4 bridge pickup is Duncan's original hot-rodded humbucker. The low end is full and powerful, the highs are crisp and detailed, and there’s an upper-midrange bump that adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords that translates to a singing, vocal-like quality when playing single notes or solos. Engineered for high gain, these pickups offer great articulation for cutting, powerful riffs. Lightweight at 7lbs 5oz, this Bich has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with spot-on intonation and low action.

The five-piece maple/walnut neck has a medium C shaped profile carve with modest shoulder, measuring .845” deep at the 1st fret and .960” at the 12th. The bound ebony fretboard features abalone cloud inlay and pristine stock medium jumbo fretwire. The guitar plays well up the straight neck with an ideally adjusted, responsive truss rod. The scale length is 24 5/8“, and the nut measures 1 11/16“ in width. The guitar plays effortlessly up the straight neck with an ideally adjusted, responsive truss rod. The headstock and lower bout feature chrome Grover Super Rotomatic tuners that turn smoothly and hold pitch well.

The stock electronics work as they should, with a Master Volume control, three-way pickup selector, mini boost and coil tap switches for each pickup, boost volume control, six-way Varitone switch, and varitone Volume. The chrome hardware is gleaming, and all of the original knobs and switches are present. The guitar is virtually unplayed, and the gloss transparent finish highlights heavy flame figuring in the maple top, with a pristine smooth gloss finish on the neck profile.

The original hardshell case and paperwork is included.
