Up for sale, a 2007 Rickenbacker 381/12V69 in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original silver tolex hardshell case. This rare Ric was produced in very limited quantities as part of Rickenbacker’s Color of the Year program, featuring a custom color Blue Burst finish with prominent German Carve on the body and deep curly flame figuring framed by checkerboard binding.
The Toaster Top alnico magnet single coil pickups provide a sound that is synonymous with Rickenbacker, producing jangle, chime, and rhythmic percussive cut with ease. The vintage-spec scatterwound version of the Toaster design, these coils have ample treble sparkle, responding with a sound that's glassy, smooth, and harmonically rich.
