Up for sale, a 2007 Martin Vintage Series 00-18V in near-mint, 100% original condition, complete with the original hardshell case. An uncommon Vintage Series iteration of the 00-18 platform, this Martin boasts a solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, V neck profile carve, and full 1 3/4" wide nut.
Extremely clear and lively, this guitar delivers ample projection and power given its body size, offering the smooth growl of mahogany when digging in hard with a flat pick. Trebles are sweet and punchy, the midrange is balanced, and the wound strings are full and rumbling while retaining plenty of focus and clarity. The EQ curve of the instrument is sympathetic to fingerpicking, and the warmth of the mahogany back and sides keeps everything full-sounding regardless of how hard you play. Featherweight at 3lbs 12oz, this 00-18V has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and comfortable action.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Mahogany
-Shape: V, measuring .870” 1st fret, .985” 9th fret
-Fretboard: Ebony, dot inlay
