Up for sale, a 2007 Ibanez Prestige model RG2550E in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case and factory paperwork. This upper-tiered Prestige model was crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, featuring a gloss sparkle Galaxy Black finish accented by a smoked mirror pickguard, HSH DiMarzio IBZ pickups, and an Edge Pro tremolo system.
A triple pickup HSH affair with a five-way blade pickup selector, both the humbuckers featured on the RG2550Z are high-output models. The RG IBZ neck pickup is fairly bright-sounding, similar to a Super 2 (DP104). The bridge pickup has additional volume and warmth, resembling a cross between the Steve Morse Bridge Model (DP200) and the Super Distortion (DP100). The centrally located RG-S single coil is warmer-sounding than a typical vintage single coil, designed to work well with the humbuckers when coil-tapped (positions 2-4 on the switch). This guitar weighs 7lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple (three-piece)
-Shape: Wizard Prestige, slender D, measuring .740” 1st fret, .830” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, 24-fret, wedge (ghost) sharktooth inlay
-Frets: Jumbo, no wear
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”
-Nut: 1 11/16”, locking
-Tuners: Gotoh SG381
-Serialization: F07-prefix
Body Specs:
-Wood: Basswood

The gloss Galaxy Black finish has a dense metallic sparkle, and cosmetic wear is limited to just a couple microscopic nicks along the lower bout perimeter and light pick wear across the guard. The satin finish on the neck profile is flawless.
