Up for sale, a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. An upper tiered "Plus" model with a figured AAA flame maple top, this Les Paul Standard boasts a Heritage Cherry Sunburst gloss nitro lacquer finish and Burstbucker Pro PAF humbuckers.

Featherweight at 7lbs 6oz, this Les Paul features a weight-relieved mahogany body, bookmatched two-piece AAA flame maple top, a one-piece mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. The acoustic tone is warm and detailed, and the instrument is outfitted with the original Burstbucker Pro humbuckers, a slightly hot-rodded version of Gibson's Burstbucker PAF, with unmatched bobbin windings and Alnico V magnets (in place of the usual Alnico II). The sound is fat and meaty, interacting well with high gain amps and providing excellent feedback rejection while having a general tonal profile consistent with the PAF design. Whether you seek warm, silky neck pickup tonalities or bridge pickup sounds that have some push and growl, this Les Paul is a great candidate for covering a wide range of genres. This Les Paul has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

The one-piece mahogany neck has a slender ‘60s-style C-shaped profile carve with round shoulders in every register, measuring .815" deep at the 1st fret and .975" at the 12th. The rosewood fretboard features pearloid trapezoid inlay and practically perfect medium fretwire, playing cleanly in every register up the 24 3/4" scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The nut measures 1 11/16" in width. On the headstock, the original Gibson Deluxe tuners are notable for being the more vintage-correct version with push-in bushings and lightly greened tulip buttons.

All of the electronics work as intended, with untouched solder joints and clean PAF stickers on the Burstbucker Pro baseplates, along with additional dated stickers from 4/27/07. The nickel-plated hardware has plenty of shine, and plastics include the original pickup rings, switch surround, single-ply pickguard and gold bonnet knobs.

The Heritage Cherry Sunburst gloss nitro lacquer finish frames broad flame figuring extending across the top, varying greatly in how it presents depending on the angle. Cosmetic wear includes buckle worming predominantly at the waist and some scattered dings across the back. The top presents extremely well, with wear limited to some faint pick scuffs extending to the bass side of the strum path.

The original Gibson USA hardshell case is included, along with the factory paperwork
