Up for sale, a 2007 Fujigen Masterfield FGN MSA-HP in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and warranty card. Produced at the venerable Fujigen factory exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this MSA-HP predates the export “FGN” branding. A premium take on an ES-style platform, this guitar features a slightly scaled-down 15” lower bout width and unique semi-hollow construction with a one-piece mahogany centerblock and rims.
Other tonewoods include curly maple top/back, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard, and this MSA-HP is featherweight at 6lbs 6oz. The PAF-style humbuckers feature Alnico III construction, delivering an ideal blend of spongy low-end warmth, smooth treble growl, and tailored midrange clarity, with more focused attack at the bridge and full, girthier tones at the neck. This MSA-HP has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a couple shallow marks clustered along the treble-side shoulder at frets 3-4.
The original brown tolex hardshell case is included, along with the Japanese warranty card.
