Up for sale, a 2007 Fender Stratocaster ‘71 vintage reissue model ST71CJ in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag and hangtag. This exceptionally rare, non-catalog “Made in Japan” Strat features a maple neck with a scalloped fretboard and medium jumbo fretwire, ash body with a gloss Natural finish, and a trio of USA-made American Vintage 57/62 single coil pickups.

The tonewood complement gives this Strat plenty of natural chime and midrange heft, weighing 7lbs 14oz. The 57/62 single coils are the same pickups used in Fender's American Vintage line, featuring black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads, and staggered alnico pole pieces. Via the five-way pickup selector switch, the bridge pickup has plenty of bounce and sparkle, the neck pickup is bold and round with a throaty cut, and cheating the "in-between" positions on the three-way pickup selector switch yields hollow quack. This Stratocaster ST71CJ has been professionally setup here at 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
