Up for sale, a 2007 Fender Jazz Bass fretless ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-FL in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Crafted in Japan” bass was designed to recreate Jaco Pastorius’ famed fretless Jazz Bass, featuring a number of vintage-accurate touches including long-stem reverse-gear clover button tuners, spiral (threaded) bridge saddles, and USA-made single coil pickups.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and lined slab rosewood fingerboard. This JB62-FL delivers plenty of treble growl, burp, and smooth low end via the pickup pair. The signal can get throaty and broad with the neck pickup favored, or dial up the bridge pickup for a more punchy, midrange forward tone. Weighing 8lbs 15oz, this JB62-FL has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action and accurate intonation.
