Up for sale, a 2007 Fender Aerodyne Medium Stratocaster model AST-80M/DH in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case and hangtags. A "Crafted in Japan" exclusive model not designed for export, this Strat features a shorter 24 3/4" scale length, “drop top” contour on top, satin neck profile finish, and a 9 1/2" radius on the slab rosewood fretboard, complete with medium jumbo fretwire; all player-friendly features engineered for fast playing and easy bending.
The basswood body offers a neutral, balanced tonal profile, especially favored for high gain scenarios, and the pickups include a DiMarzio Collection DCH-3 Full Range Impact humbucker at the bridge and a pair of DiMarzio DCS-3 ceramic magnet single coils in the neck and middle positions. The humbucker is equal parts punchy and cutting, while the ceramic magnet single coils do a great job keeping pace with the humbucker, delivering more authority and power than traditional Strat pickups. Featherweight at 6lbs 11oz, this Strat has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
