Up for sale, a 2007 Fender Telecaster ‘52 vintage reissue model TL52 in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with a tweed hardshell case. This “Crafted in Japan” Telecaster has been augmented with a pair of Joe Barden Modern dual-blade pickups and a Phase switch. Other premium upgrades include Kluson Deluxe tuning machines, a Joe Barden bridge with compensated brass saddles, CTS pots/Sprague Orange Drop tone cap, and a bone nut.
Tonewoods include an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, and this TL52 weighs 8lbs 3oz. The upgraded pair of JBE Modern T-style pickups are designed to deliver the platonic ideal of Tele tonality, with plenty of snap and twang on tap, balanced by a fatter low-mid response. The bridge pickup features JBE’s “staggered-blade” design, ensuring optimal string-to-string balance, and the neck pickup is notably broad and rich, ensuring no significant output differences when toggling between the two. The inclusion of a Phase switch enables slinky out-of-phase honk, further broadening the tonal palette. This TL52 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The ambered gloss on the neck profile highlights flame figuring in the maple.
