Crafted in Nashville, TN, this rare iteration of Steinberger’s original guitar model boasts a “paddle” maple body, graphite composite neck, EMG pickups, S-Trem tremolo system, and “kickstand” leg rest.

The neck is crafted from a blend of fiberglass, Kevlar, strandular carbon graphite fiber, and epoxy, designed for stiffness and rigidity, and this GLB-2S is featherweight at 6lbs 5oz, balancing well on a strap via the relative density of the maple body. The pair of EMG 85 active pickups feature Alnico V magnets and close aperture coils, offering incredible high end cut and fluid sustain, designed for optimal note detail and engineered so that lead work will slice through even the densest mix. This GLB-2S has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
