Up for sale, a 2006 Schecter NV-3-24-AL electric guitar in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Crafted in Japan, this Schecter is a rare iteration scarcely seen outside its country of origin. Featuring a quilted maple top finished with a gloss See-thru Blue, a solid alder body, and one-piece maple neck and fretboard, this NV series guitar has an articulate and focused response that translates well through the stock Schecter HSH pickup configuration. With a mini coil split switch and push/pull Tone control, the control array offers expanded tone-sculpting beyond the already versatile pickup set. The Super Rock humbuckers have large carbon steel pole pieces, providing a bold punch with rich lows and bell-like trebles, and the Monster Tone II in the middle position delivers a balanced, chiming snap. Weighing 7lbs 8oz, this Schecter has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The one-piece maple neck has a medium C shaped profile that fills the palm comfortably with good shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .840” deep at the 1st fret and .890” at the 12th. The maple fretboard features a player-friendly 14“ radius and stock jumbo fretwire. The frets are in great shape with their full height and well-rounded crowns, showing faint wear exclusively beneath the B string on frets 6-12, and virtually zero wear further up the fretboard. The truss rod is optimally adjusted, the neck is straight, and the guitar plays easily in every register. The scale length is a full 25 1/2“, and the locking nut measures 1 5/8“ in width. The headstock features the stock set of chrome Gotoh tuners that turn smoothly.

On the body, the electronics work as they should, with a five-way blade pickup selector switch, mini coil-tap toggle, Master Volume, and push/pull Master Tone control for the HSH pickup configuration. The chrome hardware is gleaming, and the Floyd Rose locking tremolo excels at deep dives and expressive gestures, with included arm and unmatched tuning stability. Cosmetic wear is limited to a few light scuffs and scratches in the finish, with a couple stray marks on the back treble side lower bout body edge. The neck profile sports a pristine smooth gloss finish.

A gigbag is included.
