Up for sale, a 2010 Ibanez Prestige model RG2550Z in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded gigbag. This Japanese-made Ibanez Prestige sports a gloss sparkle Galaxy Black finish accented by a smoked mirror pickguard, trio of special design Dimarzio IBZ pickups, and an Edge-Zero tremolo system.

A triple pickup HSH affair with a five-way blade pickup selector, both the humbuckers featured on the RG2550Z are high-output models. The RG IBZ neck pickup is fairly bright-sounding, similar to a Super 2 (DP104). The bridge pickup has additional volume and warmth, resembling a cross between the Steve Morse Bridge Model (DP200) and the Super Distortion (DP100). The centrally located RG-S single coil is warmer-sounding than a typical vintage single coil, designed to work well with the humbuckers when coil-tapped (positions 2-4 on the switch). The guitar weighs 7lbs 7oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Galaxy Black finish has dense metallic flake, and cosmetic wear is limited to a couple tiny chips along the perimeter and a few faint scratches on the back largely limited to the ZPS3 stabilizer/tremolo cavity cover. The neck profile retains its smooth satin finish, with some mild scuffing behind fret 10 that doesn't distract the palm while fretting.

The original Ibanez-branded padded gigbag is included.
