This rare Japanese-made Ibanez Prestige features a Mirage Red finish only available from 2005-2007, a trio of special design DiMarzio V and S pickups, and an Edge Pro tremolo system.

A triple pickup HSH affair with a V7/S1/V8 pickup complement, the humbucker sounds are pure high gain power, designed to keep things cutting, focused, and clear with excellent feedback rejection. On the five-way switch, settings 2-4 offer various shadings of single coil snap and sparkle, coil-tapping the humbuckers and combining them with the centrally located single coil. The guitar weighs 7lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action and accurate intonation.

The gloss Mirage Red finish is a very unique effect with dense metallic flake; from some angles, the guitar presents more black, in the right light it's red, and the flakes have a color-changing green appearance from some angles as well. Cosmetic wear is limited to a scant few tiny finish chips along the lower bout perimeter. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is immaculate.
