Up for sale, a 2006 Heritage Golden Eagle in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, hangtag, and warranty card. A direct descendant of Gibson, Heritage guitars are still handcrafted under the guidance of original Gibson employees at the Kalamazoo, Michigan factory. After Gibson left their original factory in 1984, their employees purchased it and have continued the legacy and pioneering spirit that defined Gibson's golden age.
The Golden Eagle is Heritage’s flagship archtop, boasting premium carved tonewoods and cosmetic appointments; the 17” wide body (3” deep) features a bearclaw Sitka spruce top with curly maple back/sides, five-piece curly maple/walnut neck, and bound ebony fingerboard. The X-braced top yields a notably resonant acoustic response with a pronounced cut and exceptionally articulate, immediate trebles. The floating humbucker is voiced to capture the sweetness and dynamism of the instrument, with broad lows, clear highs and exquisite midrange chop and detail. This Golden Eagle weighs 6lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-52 flatwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

-Wood: Curly Maple/Walnut (five-piece)
-Shape: Slender C, measuring .805” 1st fret, .950” 9th fret

The gloss Natural nitro lacquer finish highlights the subtle bearclaw figuring in the spruce top and stunning, wall-to-wall ripples of dense and dimensional curly flame across the back/sides. Exceedingly well-kept, there are just a few faint finish scratches in the clear coat on the body, and the nitro gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
The original hardshell case is included, along with the hangtag and warranty card.
