Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 2006 Fender Stratocaster XII in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a Custom Shop hardshell case. Originally introduced in 1985, this uncommon 12-string Strat is from the 2004-2009 Crafted in Japan production run, and features a gloss Burgundy Mist custom color finish with matching headstock. This instrument comes from the personal collection of Slipknot’s Jim Root, aka #4.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and a slab rosewood fretboard, and this Stratocaster weighs 7lbs 15oz. The trio of ceramic magnet Fender single coil pickups have a clear sound, with more punch and top end snap than most Alnico varieties, delivering a range of Strat-centric tonalities that capture plenty of 12-string chime. The neck pickup is a replacement, matching the original bridge and middle pickup in construction save for unbeveled, flush pole pieces (bridge and middle are staggered and beveled). This Stratocaster XII has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
