Up for sale, a 2006 Fender Jazzmaster ‘62 vintage reissue left-handed model JM66-96L in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case and hangtags. This "Crafted in Japan" Jazzmaster is a long ago discontinued model, rare in a left-handed configuration, designed for sale within Japan and uncommon outside its country of origin.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, and the guitar offers a broad range of vintage-flavored tonalities. At 8lbs 2oz, the instrument has an authoritative, clear sound when strummed acoustically, qualities that are translated faithfully through the original single coil pair. There's plenty of twang and sparkle on tap, with a range of defined and powerful tones from the two alnico magnet pickups. Warmer, wooly sounds can be accessed via the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn too. Cosmetic wear on the gloss Sunburst finish is limited to a few dings at the bass-side waist on top, a couple finish chips along the back lower bout body edge, and just a few additional minor marks and light finish scratches on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth ambered gloss
A black tolex hardshell case is included, along with the serialized/dated hangtag and Fender Japan manual.
