Up for sale, a 2006 Fender ‘62 Precision Bass DiMarzio Collection model PB62-105DMC in excellent condition and in perfect working order. A top-tier discontinued model produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and uncommon outside its country of origin, this “Crafted in Japan” Precision Bass has a bevy of premium features including a USA-made DiMarzio “Classical Vintage” DCP-1 split-coil pickup, a gloss lacquer Sunburst finish, CTS pots and vintage spec touches including long stem reverse-geared tuning machines and spiral bridge saddles.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, producing a smooth, balanced acoustic voice. The DiMarzio “Classical Vintage” DCP-1 pickup is designed to accentuate all the best P Bass qualities, dishing out plenty of sweet treble articulation and thick low end thump, particularly round and broad with the Tone knob rolled back to taste. This PB62-105DMC weighs 8lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
