Up for sale, a 2006 Epiphone by Gibson SG Standard '61-SG LQ "Lacquer Series" model in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare SG crafted for the Japanese domestic market at the Fujigen factory alongside the Elitist line, this rare Lacquer Series model was produced in a limited run from 2005-2006, featuring an Ebony gloss lacquer finish and Gibson’s classic open-book headstock.

Featherweight at just 5lbs 15oz with mahogany construction throughout and a bound rosewood fretboard, this SG has a rich natural acoustic bark. The stock pair of humbuckers is plenty lively with good midrange push, both metering in the "low wind" PAF range at 7.4k ohms. The neck position is round and full with a throaty growl, while the bridge pickup has a bold bite. Each position on the three-way switch is distinct, and the pickups take gain notably well. This '61 SG Standard has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
