The Stage Hog is a 1-watt all tube amp-in-a-box that doubles as a distortion pedal and practice amp, uniquely relying on power tube saturation for its distortion effect as opposed to the preamp distortion most commonly produced by today’s pedals. It features all the same components of a full-size guitar amplifier, including a high voltage power supply and all-tube preamp and power section, governed by a pair of 12AX7 and 12DW7 tubes. It can be conveniently utilized as the second channel on any amp, allowing for the seamless transition between natural, clean tones and cranked gain at the tap of the remote bypass footswitch (included).

The Stage Hog’s Speaker out jack can be used to drive just about any speaker cabinet, and features Scale, Gain, and Tone knobs to fine tune the signal. The Line controls include a Tone and Level knob to further adjust the line out level when using the Stage Hog as a distortion pedal, and a Voice toggle switch allows the player to flip between plexi crunch or tweed warmth.
