Up for sale, a 2005 Gretsch Duo Jet model G6128T-1962 in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. A rare double cutaway iteration of the classic Duo Jet design indicative of the 1962 model year, this Gretsch has the traditional tonewood combination of a maple top and chambered mahogany body.

Loaded with Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, this Jet has a broad sonic range, offering a punchy, sparkling bridge position sound that has plenty of muscle and breadth. The neck pickup is fat and smooth, with a distinctive thickness and bark that retains enough clarity for complex chording. Featherweight at 6lbs 11oz, this Gretsch has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Black finish is limited to a trio of small dings and some scuffing on top adjacent to the toggles and on the treble side by the knobs. Otherwise, this guitar presents very cleanly, with just a handful of tiny marks on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included, along with the hangtags.
