Up for sale, a 2005 Fender Bassman '59 vintage reissue tube amp in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original slip cover and outfitted with the original quartet of Jensen P10R speakers.

A faithful iteration of one of Fender's most coveted golden age Tweed-era amplifiers, this '59 Bassman boasts 50 all tube watts driven by a pair of 6L6 power tubes. And while the circuit was originally engineered for bass as the name would suggest, guitar players quickly gravitated to it for its muscle, headroom, and rich overdriven grit. It's a pure, straightforward circuit, with individual Volume knobs for the two channels and a global Treble/Middle/Bass three band EQ, as well as a Presence knob. Bridging the two channels with a small 1/4" jumper allows for interactivity between the two Volume knobs for even thicker roar and sizzle.

The amp retains its original quad of Jensen P10R alnico magnet speakers with dark green frames and date codes on the edges of the magnets from the 6th week of 2005. The tube chart is also intact inside the cabinet, and the tube complement includes a matched set of Sovtek/Electro Harmonix tubes including a matched pair of 6L6s and a 5AR4 rectifier.

The ambered tweed shows only light wear on the bottom edges of the enclosure, with a gleaming chrome faceplate, dogbone handle, and all of the original chicken head knobs.

The original brown vinyl slip cover is included.
