+ shipping

Up for sale, a 2004 Gretsch G6119-1962HT Tennessee Rose in 100% original condition and perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Best known for its regular use by George Harrison throughout the Beatles' career, the Tennessee Rose is a reissue of the enduringly popular Tennessean and features a thinline hollow maple body, simulated F-holes, and a pair of Hilo'Tron pickups (hence the HT in the model designation).

Hilo'Trons are essentially a single coil version of the Filter'Tron, known for their shimmering highs, mellow lows, and lively response, with plenty of Gretsch’s signature clarity on tap. This G6119 weighs 7lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 roundwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Two-piece maple
-Shape: Medium C, good shoulders, measuring .835” 1st fret, .940” 9th fret
-Fretboard: Bound rosewood, “neoclassical” thumbnail inlay
-Frets: Original slender fretwire, pristine
-Scale Length: 24.6”
-Nut: 1 11/16” width at zero fret, bone nut

Cosmetic wear on the gloss Burgundy Stain finish includes moderate buckle rash on the back, a handful of minor dings on the back and body perimeter, and some faint finish scratches in the clear coat on the body as a whole. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is nigh flawless.

The original Gretsch-branded hardshell case with “G” pointer silkscreen logo on the lid is included.
