Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Telecaster ‘62 vintage reissue model TL62-65US in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This discontinued “Crafted in Japan” Telecaster was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, uncommon outside of its country of origin, providing stiff competition for Fender’s American Vintage line and loaded with the original pair of USA-made American Vintage pickups. The tonewood complement includes an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. Acoustically, this guitar has rich natural sustain and resonance, qualities translated faithfully by the stock Fender American Vintage Telecaster pickups. These pickups feature all the hallmarks of golden age Fender construction, with black bobbin flatwork, cloth-covered leads and Alnico V magnets. Bright and sparkling, the single coils deliver more warmth and percussive cut at the neck position, and plenty of twang and bite at the bridge. Weighing 7lbs 15oz, this Telecaster benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.Neck Specs:-Wood: Maple-Shape: Medium C, full shoulders, measuring .820” 1st fret, .925” 12th fret. -Fretboard: Rosewood slab, 7 1/4" vintage-spec radius-Frets: Slender, no wear-Scale Length: 25 1/2"-Nut Width: 1.650", bone-Tuners: Kluson-style-Serialization: "Crafted in Japan" text and Q-prefix serial above neck plateBody Specs:-Wood: Alder-Pickups: Fender American Vintage pickup pair-Hardware: Bridge with spiral (threaded) saddles, knurled knobs-Plastics: Pale mint green pickguard, top hat switch tipCosmetic wear on the gloss Olympic White finish is limited to a few minor nicks along the lower bout perimeter.
